“Excellent”, “very informative”, “enjoyable”, and “the best ever” were some of the comments from the stewards attending Local 848’s Annual Shop Steward Seminar. This seminar was presented by David A. Rosenfeld, author, Law Professor, and partner in the law firm of Weinberg, Roger, and Rosenfeld along with Lisl Duncan, Attorney at Law from the Los Angeles office of the same firm. Mr. Rosenfeld flew in from his Northern California office to present this seminar.

They showed today how informed they already are and especially how much they desire to continue to find new ways to support and defend their members. Very impressive!”
As Local 848 continues to support continuing education for its Stewards, Alternates, Business Representatives, and general membership, we hope to instill a confidence level that will make us all stronger in our fight for justice in the workplace.
