36th Annual Labor Day March and Rally 2015

LaborDay Parade2015On Monday, September 7, 2015 the Los Angeles/Long Beach Harbor Labor Coalition will celebrate the 36th Annual Labor Day March and Rally. It is with great pride that we look back on Labor’s victories and struggles. In the struggles we are presently facing, we demand a fully funded educational system, more labor-friendly jobs be created and our collective bargaining rights be protected.

Workers’ rights are continually being violated by well funded and organized corporate and political agenda, striking fear and uncertainty in the lives of working people.

Labor Day is a day set aside to honor working people. Workers exercise their right to organize and march together. Labor brothers and sisters continue to struggle for the right to unionize. Another year of action has presented new challenges and struggles and we must keep pushing for what’s right long after Labor Day has passed.

Join us in celebration of Labor Day. Our theme this year is: “Unity Makes Stronger Unions”
